Lucci didnt want to frighten the little girl, which was why, upon careful consideration, that he remained in his zoan form, she didnt seem afraid of him like that, in fact… quite the opposite. So instead of pulling his face away from the hug, instead of ignoring the greeting, he responded too it.

It wouldn’t do anyone any good if the child were to run off.

A calm rumble of a purr escaped his throat, the large feline, laying down into a semi-circle around the little girl, tail flicking almost lazily as he kept an eye on her.

Probably not the best idea to make her believe all leopards were content to do this, but it hadn’t escaped his notice that leopards… didnt exist on this island. She’d be fine. she wouldn’t have any run-ins with real big kitties.

A cheerful “mroooww” escaped his throat upon her greeting, large fuzzy paw gently reaching up to pet her head. That cold front seemed to be getting closer… he hoped her parents got here before it hit, he didnt know how long he could keep her warm like this should it hit them.

It smelt… it smelt like winter… Which was most strange, because he hadn’t heard of this island having irregular seasons…

Even Lynette felt the cold coming and for her it could just mean one thing. Mom was there. Clumsily she crawled over the soft fur of the leopard and stood up helping herself with her hands. She was walking directly to the source of cold and soon she saw the blizzard, that in a matter of seconds had created a freezing hell in that area of the forest, but instead of feeling afraid she just lifted her tiny chubby arms and squealed ‘mommy’.

There was already a thick layer of snow on the floor, covering everything but the spot in which Lynette was. The snowflakes gathered, forming the shape of a woman that came to live seconds afterwards, picking Lynette up and hugging her tight.

— ❝ I was so worried! Where were you? Are you okay?❞

Lynette hugged back her mom and pointed with her chubby fingers to the leopard. 'Kitty!’ she said excitedly, but Monet frowned looking at he beast. There was something there that was more than odd. It wasn’t one of Helen’s illusions. That beast was real. A normal leopard would have eaten her daughter, and she was glad it didn’t but.. why?

— ❝ You are not just a leopard are you…❞

She was tense. Another user perhaps? Because there weren’t many options left.
