With smile and a burst of brilliant cyan blue and golden flame, Marco shifted form, long golden tail feathers splaying across the deck, flaming feathers shimmering in the failing sunlight, even crew members who had no idea what Marco had planned turned to stare at the second in command, the sight of the mythical zoan never failing to amaze, no matter how many times they’d seen it.
The large bird lowered himself to the deck, long neck lay along the wooden planks before her, offering a place for her to seat herself, she’d be safe there, he could confidently keep that part of him solid for her.
Marco’s phoenix form was, without any doubt, the most beautiful bird she had ever seen, and one of the most beautiful scenes she had ever witnessed. From the very first moment she had seen him burst into flames she felt fascinated. Carefully, almost shyly, she placed her hand on one of his wings. It felt warm, but it didn’t burn, but it felt like if her hand could simply go through the flames and appear on the other side.
But, to be honest, she felt too fascinated as to be worried if she could fall. Anyway, if that happened she could simply turn into a blizzard and land safely on the deck– although that would bring lots of questions since no one knew she was a logia user– or a user simply.
With great care she sat , still amazed, and too focused in the sight of the flaming phoenix as to care of what the rest of the crew could think.
— ❝ …I’m ready…❞
She said, wondering if she could hold onto his neck or just hold herself with her legs and hope for the best.. but she wasn’t worried. She was going to fly, and that was all that mattered at the moment.
