Greaves nodded, as they left the office and walk through the corridor to reach another room, it was a simple room with a futon rolled against the wall, shelves were filled with various books like in the previous room, it had a bathroom as well. The handler offered the woman to wait going in the bathroom to get a towel, handing it to her before opening his closet to look through finding a long sweater.
“You can put this over you. I don’t have much of clothes for women.” He apologised with a bow of the head. “Once you’re ready you can join me in the office, feel free to use the bathroom.” Greaves left the room walking fast to warn one of his man about their guest and ask him to pull any possible information he had on her. Adding he’ll need a tea-pot of hot water.
— ❝ It’s alright.❞
She assured him, closing the bathroom’s door to get changed. She wringed out the dress after removing it, leaving it hanging on the towel wrack as she dried her hair a bit. Her underwear wasn’t soaked thankfully, so she just put on that sweater, that covered her athletic frame as if it was a dress, sleeves too long, but she liked it anyway. It was oddly cozy, fitting for a rainy day and a tea, and a book or a nice conversation with someone interesting.
With her hair only slightly dampened now she stepped outside the bathroom, carrying her dress with her and putting it to dry near the fireplace. She met him in his office as she had been told.
— ❝ Thank you very much for your hospitality.❞
She told him, voice soft. It was not everyday she found someone that chivalrous.
